1. PREAMBLE
   These terms, although similar in nature to a legal document, weren't drafted by a lawyer. Mostly they were "borrowed" from various other terms of use, and are only meant to give you an idea of the broad way things work around here. The overall guideline to the terms of use is to play nice, make suggestions to make things on the site better and to accept things the way they end up.

2. ACCEPTANCE
   You must read these Canadian Money Tracker ("CMT") website Terms of Use carefully. By using the CMT website, you agree to all of these terms. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the website. But if you take the time to read this page, we think you'll see that it's no big deal. It's all about playing nice.

3. YOUR OBLIGATIONS AND CONDUCT
   You agree to follow the CMT general code of conduct and when using the forums, you agree to follow the CMT forum code of conduct.

4. E-MAIL
   CMT will attempt to deliver all of the e-mail that you may have requested (ie. password reminders, weekly reports, hit notification) to your e-mail address saved in your profile. However, the nature of e-mail is such that CMT cannot guarantee delivery of any e-mails.

5. CONTENT
   You are responsible for all content that you upload, post or otherwise transmit to the CMT website. You agree that such content will not contain content that is harmful, offensive, or questionable in taste and that the content does not include unauthorized disclosure of personal information.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
   Except as expressly authorized by CMT or by the various content owners, you agree not to reproduce, modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute, etc any derivative works of the content of CMT or others, in whole or in part, by any means whatsoever. Any content on this site, unless otherwise specified, and with the exception of the forums, is copyright by Canadian Money Tracker. If there is any question as to the owner/copyright of content, it is probably CMT.

7. PRIVACY
   You consent to the collection, processing and storage by CMT of your personal information in accordance with the terms of our Privacy Policy.

8. WARRANTIES
   Your use of the website is at your sole risk, and as such you assume all risk for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from any content obtained from this website, including any damages from computer viruses.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
   To the full extent permitted by law, CMT is not liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of or in connection with this website.
